Nature’s own design. Handcrafted silver jewellery with forms from the forests, meadows and beaches in the Finnish archipelago.
On Kimito Island, in an old barn a stone's throw from the sea shore is the workshop where Own Design jewellery is made. If the wind is from the south, there is the scent of the sea, and if it blows from the north the fragrance of the forest.
Behind the design and workmanship is Henna Renfors, who was herself born and raised on the island where she now runs her business and finds the inspiration for her jewellery art.
It was the nature of the archipelago with its blend of fertile and barren, sea and land, beauty and severity that awakened her artistic senses. It is this nature she reproduces in her jewellery - faithfully, with respect and love.
